A 90 minute walking session with tea or coffee.

We will sit down at a cafe to enjoy a chat over a coffee or tea first, followed by a gentle walk in nature.

Walking provides limitless benefits for our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health and well-being. Proven to boost energy levels and mood. Everything just seems a bit easier when one is walking because we are moving our energy, which encourages new insights.


While we walk, you can talk to me about anything you like, it doesn’t have to be related to eating issues.

We can discuss specific strategies for your situation or you can simply talk about how you are feeling right now and get things off your chest.


A 90 minute meal support session includes coffee, tea and a meal of your choosing. If there’s any time left over, we can go for a gentle walk afterwards in nature.

We will sit down at a cafe to enjoy a chat over a coffee or tea first, followed by breakfast or lunch.

Finding enjoyment, pleasure and a sense of competency going through the process of ordering and eating a meal in a social situation can significantly reduce your feelings of anxiety and it will contribute to your willingness to trust yourself in future eating situations.


While we eat, you can talk to me about anything you like, it doesn’t have to be related to eating issues.

We can discuss specific strategies for your situation or you can simply talk about how you are feeling right now and get things off your chest.



How long will it take?

Overcoming overeating is an incredibly individual experience.
It depends on a lot of factors including:

  • Where you are right now?
  • What you are willing to do for yourself?
  • What you are willing to “receive” in the way of support?
  • How determined you are to have a life free from the overeating cycle?

I can teach you the method I have created to connect with your deeper feelings and needs that preceded your overeating – your overeating is a symptom of the problem, it is not the problem itself. This skill alone has the potential to transform your relationship with food.


Why work with me?

You will be working directly with me, I work 1 on 1 with clients and have been doing so since 1999.

It has been my life’s work to show you a way out of your pain.

Living with overeating is a very isolating and shame filled existence and you don’t have to live like that. I use the analogy of ‘walking beside you like a supportive friend’ while we work together, so you can find your own answers in your own time. That way, you get to own all of your own successes too.

There are a million reasons why we overeat and none of them are really about food, eating is our first response at self soothing.

We use food to numb the pain of difficult feelings that we think we can’t handle, and it works every time we use it.
As soon as we put food in our mouths we have forgotten about our pain.
However, there is no amount of food in the world that will ever be a satisfactory substitute for our missing emotional needs. A connection with our own feelings and needs and a full vocabulary to express our feelings and needs is what has been missing from our lives.

It’s been a long road to recovery and I have tried many different types of therapy in my search to feel whole and to heal the past.
